Current status:
I am a PhD student since 2007 in the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, Greece), a member of the Knowledge and Database Systems Laboratory's group, and a research assistant at the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS, Greece). My supervisor is Prof. Timos Sellis.
Studies:
I received my diploma at the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID, Greece) of the University of Patras.
Research interests:
data management for sequential data, data management for biological data, data mining, information retrieval, indexing methods, MapReduce, cloud computing.
